hurrah!!

Well I just got some great news! Not only is the Japanese school going to wait for my delayed papers for as long as it takes, but I get to study abroad there in Sendai for a full year after all! It seems that when the Swedish school told us we could only study for a half-year, it was some kind of mistake.

...Not only that, I seem to have made yet another friend who lives relatively close to Sendai and is already saying I need to come visit!! Why the hell is all my luck in Japan?!

Thanks! Right now I'm just battling my wife's pessimism (she thinks, for some reason or another, things won't work out) but I think everything'll go great...
